Taking you to for brunch in the backyard We decided to visit here after our annual LA trip for the Dodgers opening week. We were first in line on a Saturday morning and the wait was well worth it. As you step in you'll notice the welcoming environment with fresh flowers and a woodsy ambiance under a shack. Seating it diner style giving eaters a sense closeness lost over the past several years, and done perfectly here. The food is fresh being that a lot of food is made in house. I opted for the Benedict with salmon which was amazing. The chicken is also very tasty. The staff dealt with a non stop line and they did great with that. 5 out of 5 stars for amazing Brunch and unique atmosphere

Amazing food. Quality ingredients and thought are put into each dish. Even the basic scrambled egg was speckled with a seasoning that made it taste like it was made with love. The Kitchen Sink bowl was delish! The lumberjack pancakes were creamy and rich. The service was quick and friendly. Would definitely come back to try out new menu items.

So I've been wanting to try this place as I've passed it up several times shopping in the flower district. I'd advise to go early morning during the week because the weekends get packed. So stopped in and everything on the menu looked delicious, so hard to decide on what to eat. What I especially liked was the quality of the food. Grass-fed beef and they serve cage-free eggs. The spot is a bit more on the pricier side but it's really good. I enjoyed the food alot. Fried chicken and waffles was delicious and the salad and just everything. I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu. The service was decent. Atmosphere was more on the fast paced trendy side.

Make a reservation if you can. This busy breakfast/brunch spot is popular on the weekends. Chicken and waffles were a good option specially as you get a whiff of the aroma as you enter the restaurant. As for the shrimp and grits, they were ok- nothing to them bordering on a little bland. Bloody Mary was nicely prepared with lime-lemon to complement. It's busy but it a good way. Got to witness the host take cr@p from a customer and she handled it like a pro. Will comeback just not get the grits!

I met my friend here for Sunday brunch. Pro-tip - make reservations. The host was super great! I walked in, gave them the k fo for our party and they sent the text when the table was ready. Super quick! I did walk to one of the shops, which was fun :) We sat down. I ordered an OJ and a mocha. The mocha was literally one of the best I have ever had, including the ones I make at home and my fav local coffee shop. It was hands down a winner!! We ordered the crab egged bene and the breakfast burrito-- with chicken cuz it's the best. My eggs bene came played with a simple, lovely and perfect salad. It had a lovely lemon essence dressing, that allowed the freshness of the greens to sing. The Benedict was on a house made buttermilk biscuit. The crab and avo played well off of each other. The eggs done to perfection and the sauce. Some places skimp on sauces, use them from jars or just don't know how a proper sauce is completed. This place is NOT that place. They have a stand alone Benedict sauce. That is flavorful, has the correct consistency. I highly recommend this dish!! My pal loved her breakfast burrito and would totally recommend it to a friend.

I'm still thinking about that pulled pork hash.. I frequent the Flower District from time to time and after doing some errands in the area, I figured to try this brunch spot. Again... That hash. I think most brunch spots should fried potato brick for brunch. Add two of those bricks with topping of bbq pulled pork and eggs over easy and Boom! Pulled pork was good but a bit on the sweet end but the ample potato brick eased up the sweetness. Coffee from Forge Coffee Roaster as okay. Thinking it was blended coffee beans. Not bad, but not great either. Service here was friendly and helpful. Worth trying if you're in the Flower District.
